Before I am able to show off my skills I must make a great first impression. I have a fun and bubbly personality and I believe my boss and colleagues will love that about me. I’m excited about presenting myself to the company. Although I’m excited about presenting myself, that’s my biggest fear, acceptance. I won’t be surrounded by a bunch of my peers anymore, which means I must conduct myself in a different manner. One question that has been beating my brain is what an average day looks like in my internship. Will I be piled with a lot of work? Will work be slow for me? Is there any such thing as “fun” in the office? I like a fast paced yet fun work environment. I also would like to have a flexible boss who doesn’t mind laughing. I am a very independent person so I would like to have a boss that will allow me to take the initiative to handle business. While in my internship I wish to blend in with the office culture and brush up on my grammar skills. I have no problem speaking to any, it’s just I don’t want to leave any room for judgment through my speech.
